The Reporting module is where merchants go to understand their business — sales performance, inventory health, customer behavior, employee productivity, and money movement. Each report has its own dedicated screen with its own filters, columns, and calculations.
Access path: Merchant Backend → Reporting (left sidebar)
Sales reports
Nine reports live under Reporting → Sales Reports. Each has its own dedicated article below:
Report |
What it shows |
|---|---|
The "everything on one page" view — KPIs, gross-to-net flow, tax by rate, fees, payment-method breakdown, register payouts, and cash reconciliation. Best for closeout and bookkeeping handoff. |
One row per day in the range with that day's total sales. Best for quick day-by-day reconciliation and week-over-week trend spotting. |
Each hour's sales count, net sales, COGS, gross profit, margin, and tax — across 22 columns. Best for staffing decisions and finding peak/dead hours. |
Flat item-level view of every variant sold, with quantity, gross sales, discounts, taxes, refunds, and net sales. Best for single-item or single-brand lookups. |
Ranked list of best-selling product variants by quantity or net revenue. Best for reorder priorities and surfacing high-revenue items. |
One row per category with quantity, gross sales, cost, discount, net sales, gross margin, and gross profit. The closest thing to a P&L view in Sales Reports. |
Item-level breakdown within each category — every discount type and every tax bucket isolated as its own column. |
Revenue split between In-Store, Online Pickup, and Online Delivery — with period-over-period change indicators. |
Every discount that reduced order totals — by type (Custom, Loyalty Points, Mix N' Match, Coupon, BOGO) — with usage count and dollar amount. |
Employee Reports
Five reports under Reporting → Employees — switch between them using the Employee Reports dropdown at the top of the page.
Report |
What it shows |
|---|---|
The team scoreboard — one row per cashier with Net Sales, COGS, Gross Profit, Margin %, and Tax. Best for daily team performance and pay-period reviews. |
SKU-level attribution per cashier — quantity, gross sales, cost, discount, net sales, margin, and gross profit on every product sold. Best for commission calculations and product-mix analysis. |
Category-level attribution per cashier — answers "how much of each category did each employee sell?". Best for category-tier commission programs. |
Timeclock ledger — every clock-in and clock-out per shift, total elapsed time, and net hours worked after break deductions. Best for payroll reconciliation. |
Team contact reference list — name, phone, email, address. Static lookup view, not a date-range report. |
Refund Reports
Two reports under Reporting → Refunds — switch between them using the Refund Reports dropdown at the top of the page.
Report |
What it shows |
|---|---|
One row per refunded order with full payment-channel breakdown — Debit, Credit, Cash, LP, SC, NCA, Tip. Best for refund reconciliation, payment audit, and employee refund patterns. |
One row per refunded product with quantity and dollar value. Filterable by Category, Brands, and Tags. Best for product audit, category trends, and brand-level returns. |
Multi-store report
Report |
What it shows |
|---|---|
Cross-location aggregation for multi-store merchants — Net Sales, Sales Count, Gross Profit, tax, and payment-method breakdowns rolled up across stores and broken down per-location. Includes Export to Excel. |

🚧 Documentation in progress. Dedicated articles for the categories above are pending source-ticket creation by the engineering team. The reports themselves are live in the merchant backend.
Reports not under Reporting
POS-side printable reports (Sales Summary print, POS Location Report print, etc.) are accessed from the POS register, not the web backend. See Help & support for guidance on POS printouts.
The Merchant Dashboard is a separate landing surface with its own KPIs and trend charts — see Read the merchant dashboard.
Inventory Export, Import Data, and AI/Ask QV-AI are separate modules outside Reporting.
