Report scheduling (default report date range)

Report Scheduling sets the default date and time range that all reports open with in the Quickvee backend. Instead of manually adjusting the date filter every time a report is opened, configure a default window that matches your business day, so reports always load with the right period pre-selected.

Where to find it

Sign in to the Quickvee backend, open Store Settings, then select Report Scheduling.

Access path: Quickvee Backend > Store Settings > Report Scheduling

Default reporting start & end date/time

Field

Description

Start Day

The default start day applied when any report is opened. Select from the dropdown (Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month).

End Day

The default end day applied when any report is opened. Select from the dropdown (e.g. Today).

Start Time

The time of day from which report data begins (e.g. 12:00 AM to capture from the very start of the day).

End Time

The time of day at which report data ends (e.g. 11:59 PM to capture through the end of the day).

📝 Setting Start Time to 12:00 AM and End Time to 11:59 PM captures the full 24-hour day. If your business day runs across midnight, for example, a store that closes at 2:00 AM, adjust these times to match your actual operating hours so reports reflect the correct sales period.

Saving changes

Tap Save at the bottom-right to apply the default reporting schedule. The configured date and time range will automatically pre-populate whenever any report is opened in the backend.

See Run reports for how to use the report filters day-to-day, and Store settings for the other configuration options in this section.
